We know that the studio has signed a partnership with Konami, and we also know it specialises in horror games. Yesterday we reported that Konami is looking to reboot a number of its most popular properties, including Metal Gear Solid and Castlevania. As part of that report – first published by VGC, then later corroborated by Eurogamer – there was word of “multiple Silent Hill games” being “in development at various external development studios”. It’s not the first time the cult horror franchise has been associated with PlayStation: last year there were strong connections between Japan Studio and the series, before the developer was unceremoniously shuttered. own.\u003C\u002Fp>\r\n\r\n\u003Cp> \u003C\u002Fp>\r\n\r\n\u003Cp>Dark Deception: Monsters & Mortals, a multiplayer horror part game, has partnered up with Konomi to bring over some Silent Hill DLC.\u003C\u002Fp>\r\n\r\n\u003Cp> \u003C\u002Fp>\r\n\r\n\u003Cp>As noted by Eurogamer, the details that were revealed were incredibly slim. All that was shown was a brief trailer that showed off that the crossover was indeed happening.\u003C\u002Fp>\r\n\r\n\u003Cp> \u003C\u002Fp>\r\n\r\n\u003Cp>In the teaser trailer, some radio static can be heard along with some familiar words: “In my restless dreams, I see that town… Silent Hill.” This could possibly be hinting that the crossover would contain content from the second title in the series, a fan-favorite from the series.\u003C\u002Fp>\r\n\r\n\u003Cp> \u003C\u002Fp>\r\n\r\n\u003Cp>However, the images that were shown behind some text in the trailer appear to be from Silent Hill 3 and it ends with an image from the first game, so it could be from all of the first three games.
