Angry Birds Catapults Into Minecraft With Its Own Adventure World
Remember around ten years or so ago when it felt like Angry Birds and Minecraft were both starting to completely dominate the gaming landscape? Well, after a decade of spin-offs, movies, and countless collaborations, the two titanic IP have joined forces, with an Angry Birds Adventure World now available for download in Minecraft.
Available for 1,340 Minecoins, which is roughly around $9.99, the add-on will let you play as one of six Angry Birds characters, along with an additional ten character skins.
Here's some info on the release from Rovio:
"Developed by Oreville Studios, the DLC features two birdtastic game modes: Classic Mode lets players fling birds from a giant slingshot to take down teetering piggy towers, just like in the original Angry Birds games – only now in the beloved blocky style of Minecraft. Mission Mode, presents the player with four unique environments to explore, challenging players to rescue the members of the Angry Birds flock including Chuck, Bomb, Stella, and more. Once unlocked, the birds are available as playable characters with their own special abilities to be used against the flock’s arch nemeses, the green piggies. Players can also find golden eggs which contain adorable Hatchling friends."
In other news, Minecraft has recently become the third best-selling Switch game in the UK, putting it behind Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
