This early blockage in Middle Eastern and Asian nations was entirely predictable, given the history of controversies that have followed the brand since the days of GTA 5 due to its raw depiction of crime and nudity.

While the markets in the United States, Japan, and the European continent remain open without any signs of government interference, this significant portion of the globe will need to resort to digital workarounds if they want to play. The excessive puritanism of certain governments ends up punishing the end consumer, treating adult audiences like children and preventing the industry from achieving even more impressive sales records at launch.
