Adorable RPG The Outbound Ghost Set to Haunt Your Console This November

Otherworldly delights.

The Outbound Ghost is a delightful little 2.5D RPG all about helping ghosts ascend to the afterlife.


Physical editions will be released on PS5 and PS4 on 25th November, with a digital release listed as later in 2022. We got a new trailer ostensibly for the PC release date, but there is plenty of gameplay included for our purposes.


Featuring a colourful cast of characters stuck in the in-between, it's your task to right wrongs and wrap up any unfinished business your fellow spooks might have. However, things won't always go swimmingly, and combat is typical turn-based JRPG fare in which figments of your past personality, like Regret and Jealousy, can be used as party members.
